Product overview

Protect operations from costly outages with the Pramac GDW420V. Rated at 336.8 kW prime, it is designed for commercial standby, industrial backup and site power. The set can be matched to the real load, motor-starting demands and operating environment rather than selected on nameplate size alone. The Volvo diesel engine and Mecc Alte ECO40 1S4 C alternator form a well-matched mechanical and electrical package for long-term standby or prime-power service. Integrate it with automatic transfer switching, remote monitoring, distribution and site fuel systems to create a complete power solution. Order the standard package or specify a custom build with a stainless-steel canopy, hot-dip galvanised skid base, super-silent enclosure, synchronising controls or an open generator set. CPS supports the full project—from load review and generator selection through to switchboards, fuel transfer, compliance testing and ongoing maintenance.

  • Diesel generator for standby or prime power applications
  • Electric start and generator control-panel integration
  • Designed for commercial, industrial and facility backup power
  • 75% PRP fuel consumption: 58.19 L/hr

Canopy and baseframe

  • Weatherproof galvanised-steel enclosure helps protect against corrosion and harsh conditions.
  • Acoustic insulation and a residential silencer reduce operating noise.
  • Large side doors provide access for service and maintenance.
  • Doors have key-lockable handles.
  • Baseframe made from welded steel profiles.
  • Appropriately sized anti-vibration mountings.
  • Bolted support feet.
  • Lifting provisions for crane handling; use the model-specific lifting instructions.
  • Guards help prevent accidental contact with moving and rotating parts.
  • An earthing point is provided for connecting the metal components to earth.
